Women in Rural Enterprise...
WiRE, a national organisation of over 2000 members is based at Harper Adams University College and helps women in rural areas either to start up or expand a business.
Annual membership is just £40 and includes: a national quarterly magazine, regularly-updated website with member notice board, virtual network, free listing on the rural marketplace and business resources, reduced
rates at national shows and exhibitions, PR and media opportunities.
WiRE has also developed a unique package with HSBC giving its members preferential rates and services.

Lisa is the Deputy Network Leader & Group Secretary of the York Branch of WiRE until September 2009, where she is stepping down from her role that she has undertaken for 3 years. Should you wish further information about WiRE, she is more than happy to send you in the right direction.
The York Branch holds meetings on the 1st Tuesday of every month. Come along to a meeting for free and see what you think. Just let us know when you might pop along, we're a friendly, social group who love to meet new Members.
