A Money Making Challenge
After being given an open ended brief to raise funds for an Acorn Enterprise Scholarship Fund, Acorns 4 at York St John University decided to hold a Corporate Golf Day at Sandburn Hall Golf Club, Flaxton, near York on Tuesday 12th May 2009.
We looked for individuals and businesses to put together teams of 4 to sign up for an exciting corporate networking golf event and they made the day spectacular. Thanks to all concerned. We had the following on offer:-

- Refreshments/food throughout
- Mini competitions
- Fun Casino
- Prizegiving
- Raffle Prizes

With the matched funding from the Government, we made just short of £6,000. Thanks again and watch this space for further events.
